the beauty of nature

A calendar series that I found on the deviantart.com ... juz so so perfect ^^ that I want 2 share to all of you.
Just simple, all picture have a same set of color, format, pictures ... but it could describe the charm of nature, how various and also mystery they are ...
The design's element used here is the repetition of leaves, flower, water... It make a harmony combination through the collection, through the time and places... ^^

Long time 0 c :D

This is my entry for this week, a layout for a web page ... the idea is created by recent rainy days =.= it looks simple, pure, bright but somewhere ... it's still dark =.= ( I mean the sky)

However, I still like it. the most important part of this nice layout is the picture, and ... I get it from www.wallcoo.com :D. it has a lot of wonderful and unique art work just like the deviantart.com ^^

Another one ... but I think it's not good, however, it's my son haha :D

layout _Gestalt concept

In this layout, I using the proximity concept of Gestalt by placing a group of 2 pictures in the middle and the text is arranged around them. Therefore, it is easy to recognize that these objects are connected with each other. On the other hand,I am also apply grid system in the layout to make it more stronger. However, I think it still has too much "white space" which means they are not connected as tight as it should be. Anyway, because I still want to keep the idea about using the proximity concept, I let it stay like this. In general, the type of balance used here is horizontal symmetry (which it is supposed to be stronger but it is still not enough T.T). For the color, the "hot" red picture and the "cold" blue picture works quite effectively with each other. It gains the balance while they are put on the "neutral" black background. Finally, the font type and font size is readable \\^^//.

This time, I don't use grid very often, just simple arrangement. But, for the title, I use the continuance concept by repeating fonts, the shape, the deign and the color (black). It seems to create a unity between the letters. The shape of flower pictures are also the same. Here, I apply the asymmetry balance looks compatibly with the set of title. About colour, "red", "green" and "blue" are all been set for another harmony layout. I think this one looks more creative and nicer than the 1st one.

In the last one, I just try to apply the last and only concept that I haven't used as you request - the closure concept. However, I looks weird o_O ... but after all, it looks like that I have been successful to use the concept as I was told to do so. :D

THE LATEST LOGO (MADE BY AI)

This is the assignment we did last week. After showing my draft and describing the idea, I have changed some detail and I glad that it turns out much better than the first one (Thanks GOD !! :D)

Of course, everybody forget some visual meaning of the logo, so I will explain here again:

• the sun is made by the shape of the film reel.
• the 3 moons are put in a triangle shape which represented for the strength of the company and also the film industry.
• the combination of Sun and Moon is accidentally suitable for the logo of a post-production company. It shows the unity, the harmony. They are naturally made for each other. As adding sound into the film, this is a significant requirement for the company.
• the sun seems to be shiny which also describes how strong the company is and they will definitely develop in the future.
• the logo is flying (or dancing =)) ) with its shadow underneath. It is not only makes the viewers feel that the logo is more real but also express the creativity, which is the second important element for the company ( adding the shadow seems not making the logo be so much complicated ^o^)
  

About the latest logo, I am quite satisfied with the color that I arrange in the logo. For the film reel, I choose the black and white radial color instead of the simple black. It makes me feel a little bit less boring whilt ther are just black and white. It is not much but for me, it is enough. ^^
